Calling all book lovers! The Annapolis Book Festival is celebrating its 22nd year. Dozens of renowned authors, including Christopher Cox, Brigid Kemmerer, Susan Page, Juan Williams, Marie Arana, and Nikole Hannah-Jones are coming to Key School’s picturesque campus on Saturday, May 3 for this free community event. A Book Event and Panel on Harm Reduction in Action
Patricia Roos talked about Surviving Alex: A Mother’s Story of Love, Loss, and Addiction, in conversation with Rocky Schwartz of Sharing the Hope Family Support Center, a division of Prevention Resources. Sheilah Powell (NJ Harm Reduction Coalition) moderated a panel on harm reduction in action, which included Susan Ousterman (Vilomah Foundation) and Ruby Clark (Ruby’s Vision). A Q&A session followed, along with a reception.
The event was held at the Kathleen W. Ludwig Global Village Living Learning Center, Douglass Campus, Rutgers University-New Brunswick.
